This Cookies Policy describes which cookies and similar technologies are used by the website https://monkeymastering.com (the "Site"), for what purpose, and how you can manage them. It forms an integral part of the Legal Notice and the Privacy Policy, and complies with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the AEPD's Cookies Guide.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in the user's browser when visiting the Site. It allows the Site to remember information about your visit (language preferences, logged-in session, shopping cart, etc.) and improve the user experience.
The term "cookies" also covers other similar technologies (e.g. pixels, local storage, session storage) that perform an equivalent function: storing or retrieving information from the user's terminal.
Essential for the operation of the Site (navigation, access to restricted areas, cart management). They do not require user consent pursuant to Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE.
Allow the Site to remember user choices (language, region, interface preferences).
Measure aggregated visitor activity to improve the Site. They require prior consent.
Used to display relevant ads or measure campaigns. They require prior consent.

Summary: the Site currently only uses first-party localStorage to: (a) remember the language chosen by the User (
mm_lang) and (b) remember their decision on the cookie banner (mm_cookies). The Cloudflare entries (__cf_bm,cf_clearance, and_cfuvidif Turnstile is ever enabled) are technical CDN security cookies.If analytics cookies are added in the future (e.g. cookieless Plausible, or Google Analytics with consent), this table will be expanded and explicit consent will be requested again through the banner.
Affiliate / Creator program. The Creator Agreement (§3) provides for last-click attribution with a 30-day window. That attribution relies on a third-party marketing cookie set by Lemon Squeezy when a visitor arrives through a Creator's affiliate link. That cookie is not active yet — the program has not launched. When it launches it will be added to the table above and, being a non-technical marketing cookie, it will only be set after the user's prior consent through the banner.
As of publication, the Site does not use analytics cookies with individualized tracking, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies beyond the CDN security cookies listed. Analytics, when enabled, will use a privacy-first solution (e.g. Plausible or Fathom) that does not identify the user and does not require consent. If we change this approach, this Policy will be updated and your prior consent will be requested through the banner.
Upon your first visit to the Site, a banner is displayed with three options: - Accept all - Reject all (with the same visual prominence as "Accept all", as required by the AEPD's 2023 Guide) - Configure / Preferences (to choose by category)
Consent is recorded, and your choice is stored in your browser (mm_cookies). You can withdraw or change it at any time by clearing this Site's data / local storage in your browser (instructions per browser in §7): the banner will be shown again on your next visit so you can choose afresh. You may also write to legal@monkeymastering.com and we will confirm the withdrawal. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, as required by Art. 7.3 GDPR and the AEPD 2023 Cookies Guide.

Some providers (Cloudflare, and possibly Google) may be established in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. See details in the Privacy Policy, section 3.1.
We may update this Policy to reflect legal or technical changes. The "last updated" date in the header reflects the current version. If the changes affect cookie categories that require consent, we will request it again via the banner.
